The the kids and I are in a shelter.
There’s not much more I can say.
We are managing. One day at a time, and at times, one minute at a time.
I miss y’all and I hope to get back soon.
It may take a bit to reply to comments but I will.

WELL…we’ve taken a few hits the last six months to a year–reflected in my poetry as usual! But…back to full-time Security, and the Mrs. actually has two firm friends here–one of which mjust went in for another hip operation. Sure am glad you—and we—are in our respective safety zones. Life seems to be getting harder—or is it just me? š

You and your children deserve a fresh start. I believe in you. When I was in the shelter, I wrote my blog old school, pen and paper, and then uploaded it at the public library. It gave me something vital to do every day. You have been such an inspiration to us. Know that we are sending your love right back atcha.

Been there, done that, pretty sure someone stole my t shirt.
We lasted two weeks in a shelter. Even though we really only slept there, I couldn’t handle the daily confrontations between “guests”. We’re back to couch surfing at a friends house. Your safety is paramount. ā¤ Thinking of you.

Hey girl, good for you. The shelter is not easy but it is safe. Y’all just stick together. I did five months in a DV shelter, I remember all of it. Be safe, be together, be right. I am thinking of you and yours, for sure. Do not forget your self care moments, that minute you can steal to paint your nails or take a long shower or just sit and breathe. Feed your soul.
