Surviving Domestic Violence

THEN THERE IS THE THUNDERBOLT

Thank you Mike
Powerful words indeed.

Colours fading

Before the sun

Takes its leave

Of blue skies

Spells trouble

Weather changing

Storm brewing

Birds make haste

To vanish

Colours fading

Aura changing

This time to mist

Red mist

Dominion is to passion

What a savage man

Is to love

The abused know

Such changes well

Unpredictable

Violent

No defence

Against the weather

No defence

Against the relentless

Fist

Then there is the thunder bolt

Still she says nothing

The incidental nothing
