Surviving Domestic Violence

Who’ll Stop The Rain?

It’s been raining all day and will continue to do so all night along with thunder and lightning.

In light of my most recent visitor, I guess I’ll hunker down with my military mace, blade and 12 gauge.  Oh, well.  Long night ahead.  :/

Thunderclap as I type.  :/

  1. Love this! But you are dating yourself…

  2. Hope the rain stops soon . . . literally & figuratively ☮

  3. You listen to some CCR and be ready to protect yourself, Teela.

I am angered to hear what you must go through with this guy.

On your title of his post … one rainy day during Springsteen’s Born in the USA tour in the mid 80s me and 20,000 other soaked Bruce fans were out on the lawn at an amphitheater in the late afternoon. The Boss and the E Street Band came out for sound check, played ‘Who’ll Stop the Rain,’ it stopped raining, and didn’t rain a drop the rest of the whole night. He is my music god.

Hope that makes you feel a little better. I like your taste in the songs you put up …

    • Thank you Mark,
I really appreciate your support and encouragement.
I love The Boss too and what a cool experience.
Been up most of the night and all is well.
Again, your support means more than you know.

  4. Hope the sun comes out for you soon.

  5. Don’t forget to slip butterknives in the doorframe, jammed in between the slats of the frame so that they lay flat over the door itself. It really helps when you cannot sleep. I always used two. It is a fire hazard, though. But you can’t kick that open from outside.

  6. My thoughts and prayers are with you *hugs* Thumbs up for the 12 gauge!
