βIt takes more courage to examine the dark corners of your own soul than it does for a soldier to fight on a battlefield.β
β William Butler Yeats
“12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.”
– Hebrews 4:12-13 (ESV)
Prayed for courage for you, myself and some other friends going through trials this morning, to have the courage to face them by grace as God sanctifies us and refines us of the dross of whatever character flaws we may need worked on, and/or to sharpen the shine and soften the rough edges of our positive facets. Not in so poetic of words, but God got the point!
