A Very Special Thank You

A Very Special Thank You

I cannot find the words t0 adequately convey how much I appreciate every single person who follows, comments or likes my blog.

I have received unending support from so many here in my virtual world.Β  You have given me the strength to not only survive but also thrive one day at a time.

Because of you, I can:

Refuse to allow 19 years of my life, once filled with an indescribable hell, to go to waste.

Refuse to allow this precious corner of my world to be tainted by the control of my abuser.

Refuse to be complacent and complicit in this vicious crime against my brothers and sisters by keeping silent.

And I promise:

I will, until the day I draw my very last breath, advocate for you, love you, support you and most importantly, listen to you.

BECAUSE OF YOU I AM NOT ALONE.

  2. AS it should be. That is the truth that our glitzy graceless modern society has hidden from us. In that world success is strength and domination are the goal. That’s why it’s good to come to a place like this. For the “big studs” of the modern world, they are truly alone. And you and all the rest of us are not. That it takes tradgedies of the type you have experienced to bring us to this conclusion seems unnecessary and cruel. And yet it’s often that way; it’s a mystery that will haunt me for a while. Perhaps success is not linear. As Joseph Campbell once said, “if you are falling, dive!”.
Mazel Tov, Teela. If my wife is right and everything happens for a reason then there is more good to come.

    • Thank you so much. I love the quote and I will use it from this day forward. I will not flail and fight for my life as I fall, I will take a graceful dive into the unknown as if it were known.
I believe, as your wife does, that good will come.
