  1. I wish every teenage girl could see that!

  2. It breaks my heart to see someone young so hurt – they are so vunerable and the next thing they know they’re adults and still not being treated with respect. Thank you for sharing this – would you mind if I came back on Monday to re-blog this. I would do it now but I have a ban on the serious side of things on weekends (otherwise I can get a little obsessive) and this is too important to put in between jokes and funny stories. Jen x

  3. Not good…but these kids won’t listen to anyone with some good advice. Sometimes I guess they have to see for themselves.

    • I guess so. We can only do what we can.

      • At some point everyone needs to realize that these are control tactics and women use them too, but I have been in a few relationships where the man would do this all the time and it makes you feel like you are going to be sick everytime the phone buzzes. I was never really doing anything wrong but would be accused of cheating or doing something I shouldn’t have been. Then you are endlessly trying to show them how much you really are committed, etc. It’s an ugly viscous cycle.

      • It absolutely is. When I left my abuser I would purposely ignore the phone just because I could. Beforehand, I jumped when the phone rang, along with spouting off a few expletives before answering of course. I’m glad that part of my life is over and I would never go back to that hell for anything.
